Competitive Skipping


St George Skipping competes at State, National and International competitions.

Skippers can compete as individuals in speed and freestyle events, and in teams in both single rope and double dutch speed and freestyle events.

FAQs

  • All Competitive Skippers will need a freestyle rope, beaded rope, plastic speed rope and wire rope, and need to bring them to every training session.

    All ropes are available for purchase. Please check rope suitability with coaches if you are sourcing your own ropes.

  • We have a compulsory uniform for State and National Competitions that includes; tracksuit, singlet, shorts for boys and leggings for girls.

  • Skippers can wear casual comfortable clothing to training. Appropriate, supportive, sport shoes must always be worn.

  • Yes we do. Eligible Parents / Guardian can receive two $50 vouchers per child per year.
